Project leader, dr. sc. Goran Pavel Šantek, on Monday, 18th of March 2019 has participated in a public forum organized by the association of fans “Dinamo – that is us” with prominent home and foreign experts – Mike Farnan, former CEO of Manchester United, Frederik Ekström from AIK Stockholm and dr. sc. Tomislav Globan from Faculty of Economics and Bussines in Zagreb”.
Večernji list, Croatian daily news journal has reported: “Prof. dr. sc. Goran Pavel Šantek, who is teaching Anthropology of Sports on Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and an author of the book “Dinamo, that is us”, has cautioned that future Management of the club has to, parallelly, build up a lost identity of the club. “You can make the prettiest stadium and provide comfort and I agree with it, but more important is to make fans identify themselves with the club again. They have to bare emotion that they belong to it, otherways it will also be empty except the big European matches where one comes to see adversary” – Šantek concluded. More on the link.
